February 7: Visit Alternative House for an informational Open Door at the House event, where visitors can learn more about the issues facing young people in Northern Virginia and talk with the Executive Director, a Board Member, and staff members, as well as tour the Teen Shelter. February 7: BoardSource presents a webinar on succession, "Aliens Abduct CEO! Be Prepared with a Succession Plan," presented by Susan Meier. This webinar is free for BoardSource members, and Roundtable members get free BoardSource membership - sign up to receive yours here.
February 12: Join THEARC for a Wacky and Whimsical Tea to benefit THEARC's programs. The event will include high tea, a silent auction, and fun games for children of all ages and their families, and will be held from 2-4pm at the Four Seasons Hotel Georgetown. Purchase your tickets online.
February 13: Join Public Allies Washington, DC for a reception to celebrate the launch of Everyone Leads with author and Public Allies International CEO Paul Schmitz. The event will be held from 6-8pm at the Greater Washington Urban League, 2901 14th St., NW. RSVP by email.

March 15: The Washington Regional Association of Grantmakers presents the first event in their Brightest Minds series, "Disruptive Demographics: Challenges and Opportunities for the Greater Washington Region's Philanthropic Community" with Dr. Jim Johnson.
